Tower Technician Positions

Phoenix United is a fast-growing US telecommunications services provider searching for qualified applicants to fill the following positions:
Foreman
The candidate must have expert-level knowledge of the telecommunications industry and its requirements. Must be adept in planning out and completing site builds, troubleshooting, and other tasks and technical skills expected of this position.
Teaching ability, leadership, interpersonal skills and integrity are paramount.
Number of years experience required: 4-6 years
List of responsibilities:
Managing the crew
Verifying the RFDS, CD’s, Mount Analysis prior to construction and spotting any discrepancies
Picking up material and running the inventory
Sending the list of missing or wrong material to the Construction Manager by email
Logging in and out to tower owner(s) on a daily basis
Logging in and out to customer(s) on a daily basis
Running safety meetings with your crew on a daily basis
Filling out the JSA on a daily basis
Setting up the safety rescue kit near the tower leg on a daily basis
Tower climbing
Creating the work plan for the day with the Top Climber
Assigning tasks from the work plan to your crew members
Verifying the performance of your helpers
Correcting your Helpers during the work process whenever necessary and on a daily basis
Rigging/Tagging
Color coding of RF Jumpers
Color coding of power jumpers.
Color coding of fiber jumpers.
Housekeeping of the site compound
Housekeeping of the trailer.
Organizing the tools in the trailer.
Setting up of the safety box.
Assemble the RRU’s before installation.
Assemble the antennas before installation.
Assemble the DC9/DC6/OVP/COVP
Preparation of ground wires for RRU’s/DC2/DC9/DC6/OVP/COVP
Lift up the equipment on the tower with the capstan
Installation of antennas
Installation of RRU’s
Installation of DC2/DC9/DC6/OVP/COVP
Setting up of the azimuth to antennas per RFDS and taking photos for COP
Setting up the MDT to antennas per RFDS and taking photos for COP
Setting up of the Plumb to antennas per RFDS and taking photos for COP
Support of the RF Jumpers with hangers on the tower top
Support of the Ground Wires with zip ties on the tower top
Taking all the pre-photos from the ground and tower top before construction starts
Inspection of the tower and site compound on the first day of on-site arrival
Taking post-photos on the ground and tower top after the equipment has been installed
Doing the Closeout Package, following the company policy for each site built by you and your crew
Relocation of antennas up on the tower
Relocation of RRU’s up on the tower
Lifting of equipment with capstan up on the tower
