Salary Range: $55,000 - $60,000 annually 

Schedule: Flexible Second Shift Schedule, weekends required.

What You Will be Doing 
We want people to join our team who share our values of love, excellence, respect, empowerment, and well-being. The ideal candidate will be providing mobile crisis behavioral health services, including counseling and case management services to children, adolescents, adults, and families. 

Primary Job Responsibilities

  • Provides crisis response services to individuals experiencing mental health crises. This includes completing a crisis assessment, recommendations regarding level of care, developing a crisis plan, and carrying out the crisis plan to ensure de-escalation and stabilization.
  • Coordinates with other providers to ensure collaboration regarding care received and promote stabilization.
  • Locate and mobilize community resources to support the treatment.
  • Manage each referral for appropriateness and services needed, including outreach efforts in the natural environment.
  • Consults with clinical leadership as needed to assist in risk management and clinical dispositions.
  • Assesses potentially dangerous situations and takes appropriate precautionary measures to assure client/worker safety.
  • Performs appropriate clinical interventions and/or brief treatment around well-defined issues that can be dealt with in a specific time frame. Service may be required to be rendered at any site, or in the community.
  • Involves clients and families in crisis management and treatment planning.
  • Completes all documentation within timelines established by applicable regulations and policies.
  • Mediates issues that arise among clients, families, and staff.
  • Provides linkage with appropriate community resources by maintaining knowledge of other systems, making referrals, and identifying unmet needs (e.g., recreational, transportation, healthy/safety, employment, etc).
  • Work closely with an interdisciplinary team to support clients and coordinate care.
  • Attend meetings and professional development activities as required.
  • Mediates issues that arise among clients, families, and staff.
  • Advocates on a case, policy, and program level.
  • Provide clinical review and audit of clients’ charts and documentation to ensure compliance and support quality improvement.
  • All other assigned duties.
 
Position Requirements

Minimum Education/Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in social work or related field.
  • Licensed through the State of Ohio as a LSW/LPC/LISW/LPCC/LMFT/IMFT.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain First Aid, CPR - adult, child, and infant; delegated nursing (training will be provided, if not already certified).

Preferred Education/Qualifications

  • One to two (1-2) years of supervised work experience in a behavioral health care setting, working directly with clients.
  • One year of crisis intervention/crisis response work.
