Job Description
We are currently seeking a Showroom Sales and Designer for our Buffalo location. The candidate must have a strong background in residential and commercial design. Flooring sales experience is a plus, but is not necessary for this position.
Responsibilities
Work on a daily basis with customers to specify our products on projects by assisting them with design selections
Use sales selection sheets for usage and quote follow up
Work with key manufacturer representatives to promote and specify products
Ensure that the showroom is visually merchandized to an excellent standard
Ensure displays highlights new products and emphasizes exclusive and stocking lines
Maintain and grow relationships with architects and designers
Maintain showroom cleanliness and a neat/organized work area
Qualifications
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Excellent presentation skills
Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Office, ipad, iphone)
Professional, reliable, responsive, punctual
Ability to work independently as well as with a group
Must have a degree in design
