Nature and Scope

This position will be a team member of Private Banking whose responsibility is to identity and develop, manage and retain full service consumer banking relationships. Consult and recommend solutions to attain financial goals acting as a liaison to other lines of business to deepen the member relationship (Business Services, Benefits, Mortgage Lending, Allegacy Investment Group, Business Development, Digital and Retail). Open and service accounts within limits (deposit and loan services) working with complex financial accounts.

Position takes a public role in developing and maintaining relationship of Allegacy Federal Credit Union to its local community as well as other communities it serves.

This position is responsible for meeting the annual Private Banking portfolio goals. Internally, this position is responsible for collaboration with all lines of business and back office teammates to ensure the best member experience and cross collaboration efforts. Externally, this position involves working with the member on a one to one basis to help them achieve his/her financial goals.

Specific Accountabilities


  • Deep financial product and process knowledge with a commitment to exceed delivery expectations with professionalism, sense of urgency and accuracy.
  • Professional business writing and excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other software to track results of prospective and acquired business.
  • Successful knowledge and experience with consumer and commercial client and private banking sales and relationship building experience.
  • Ability to manage change, problem-solve and make decisions. Apply interpersonal skills to individual financial situations.
  • Must be a team player helping to increase overall relationships by partnering with other lines of business
  • Demonstrate enthusiastic support of corporate mission, core values and long-term objectives. Performs job duties within our bylaws, regulations, Board of Directors policies, established internal and external service standards and our work procedures.
