Description

VSolvit is currently seeking an Azure Administrator in support of an Azure Government NIPR Cloud Services environment for Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC). The Administrator will be responsible for protecting the infrastructure that runs all the Azure Cloud services offered in the AzureGov Cloud and assist the U.S. Air Force in securing the NIPR Cloud environment wherein the Government will deploy an Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS).

Responsibilities:

  • The Azure Administrator is responsible for providing a variety of Azure Government NIPR Cloud Services for the PRC2 system.
  • Manage web environment design, deployment, development, and maintenance activities in a high-availability, multi-region environment
  • Perform testing and quality assurance of web sites and web applications
  • Monitor and diagnose applications, infrastructure, and network
  • Provide consultations on where the IaaS will be deployed in the AzureGov Cloud
  • Sustain an Active-Active site-replication at a Continuity of Operations (COOP) greater than 99.9% network up-time within a U.S. Government approved NIPR cloud environment
  • Deploy and manage IaaS and PRC2 applications to the specified AzureGov regions within NIPR
 
Position Requirements

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree
  • 5+ years of experience working with AzureGov Cloud
  • IAT Level 2 Certification: CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, or SSCP

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a NIPR (IL5) environment

 

Additional Requirements:

  • United States Citizenship required
  • Active secret clearance
