Description

D3 Air and Space Operations has a contingency opening for an ACC Readiness Execution Analyst at Langley AFB, VA.

Responsible to ACC/A3O Execution Manager for helping manage the ACC portfolio of Readiness Action Items (RAIs) and readiness execution tasks that are generated by unit and FAM engagement, senior leadership engagement and ACC/A3 General Officer (GO)/Senior Executive Service (SES) and/or COMACC/Deputy Commander (DCOM) engagement, in order to action critical readiness drivers to completion. Provide actionable information to ACC/A3, COMACC/DCOM, Air Staff, and SECAF regarding specific ACC readiness returns/improvements in relation to resources/dollars expended. Coordinates with and, when needed, tasks HQ ACC FAMs in order to resolve/meet, on a continuous basis, Readiness Action Items (RAI) and Readiness execution task milestones, established in coordination with FAMs/SME’s and other internal and external organizations and agencies. Along with assisting general readiness execution tasks, this position is the primary analyst for interface, incorporation, and resolution of Cyber readiness issues/tasks throughout the ACC Readiness portfolio. Assists in providing RAI and readiness execution task periodic status briefings to ACC/A3 leadership and, when needed, COMACC and other senior staff. Collects and manages information on any significant HAF, outside agency, or internal ACC changes/events that would affect the accomplishment of ACC RAIs or units meeting required readiness levels and provides that information (guidance when needed) to RAI OPRs or FAMs responsible for unit readiness, in order to make necessary modifications to the RAIs/readiness tasks and/or facilitate their completion. The Contractor shall:

Provide accurate, effective, and timely status of RAIs/readiness tasks through the use of all available resources to include Defense Readiness Reporting System (DRRS) and utilize the Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff (CJCS)-directed operational readiness reporting information for Air Combat Command to carry out/ensure the execution and eventual completion of RAIs/readiness tasks.

Conduct necessary meetings (via phone teleconferences, video teleconference or group meetings) across ACC staff/Directorates, NAFs, Wings/Dets/OLs, and Air Staff/outside agencies (as necessary) to ensure all actions are taken and RAI/readiness task milestones are met to action and complete all RAIs/readiness tasks according to ACC/A3 direction.

Conduct all RAI/readiness task retrieval and analysis with the aid of DRRS, ACC organizations, other MAJCOMs, and HAF/outside agencies

Coordinate with HAF readiness office, regarding Air Force Readiness Policies that would affect or inform ACC RAIs/readiness tasks.

Apply DRRS technical knowledge to assist in informing, executing, and completing ACC RAIs/readiness tasks. Manage unit/FAM compliance with established RAI/readiness task milestones and any directives and instructions outlined in ACC SUPP to AFI 10-201. Conduct continuous/scheduled review of timely milestone completion for RAIs/readiness tasks.

Take the lead on readiness briefings tasked by HAF, COMACC, and ACC/A3 dealing with special interest readiness such as 4 bin or lead wing. In particular, lead the management of the periodic readiness briefing, presented by ACC commanders, on 4 bin/AFFORGEN unit readiness. Prepare RAI briefings through the use of DRRS, ACC organizations, other MAJCOMs, and HAF/outside agencies to ACC and HAF Senior Leaders.

Manage and administer ACC RAI tracking system and/or SharePoint. Review and provide guidance or inputs on draft RAI inputs to Functional Area Managers (FAMs). Conduct scheduled RAI reviews with applicable FAMs.

Position Requirements

Secret Security Clearance Required.

Three (3) years’ experience working at an AF MAJCOM or NAF as an action officer or senior leader.

Bachelor’s degree and five (5) years’ military experience.

Three (3) years’ experience working with DRRS with the ability to operate and extract data.

Three (3) years’ experience working with readiness reporting or execution, procedures, processes and policies.

Outstanding writing skills and excellent verbal communications skills a must. Possess the ability to consolidate large amounts of information into succinct salient points.

Two (2) years’ experience using unclassified (NIPRNet) and classified (SIPRNet) network enterprise environments and office automation software to include Microsoft operating systems and Microsoft Office (suite of Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
