Share Email Opening Title Finisher  Category Finishing   Description JOB DESCRIPTION POSITION TITLE: Finisher TEAM: Finishing BASIC FUNCTION: Under the direction of, and reporting to the Finishing Lead, the Finisher is responsible for converting Master Rolls into Finished Rolls using Finishing procedures. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs activities related to the set-up and operating the Finishing Machines following written procedures and instructions. Maintain material quality throughout the slitting operation assuring print position, roll conformation and implementation of the hold procedure when necessary. Identify and Remove defective material utilizing flagging and inspection procedures. Follow shop packet instructions and complete line verification forms. Read and follow written procedures and instructions as required. Label, sleeve and box finished goods. Maintain an organized, clean and safe working environment. Responsible for making time and quantity entries into the shop floor computer system. Perform other duties as assigned.         Position Requirements KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Basic math knowledge required Basic computer skills required.
