Excellent benefits including no-cost dental, vision, and life insurance A Boundless sponsored $150 deposited into your flexible spending plan 232 hours of paid time off Student loan forgiveness through the Federal Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program Scholarships geared towards professional development and continued education Career growth opportunities Salary Range: $44,000-$46,000/annually Schedule: First Shift 8:00am - 4:30pm, with on-call responsibilities  Schedule is subject to change What You Would Be Doing The Residential Manager reports to the Program Administrator to provide direct programming and support services to residents with developmental and intellectual disabilities in our Respite Homes.  Supervises, recommends assignments, transfers, promotions, disciplinary actions, grievance resolutions, and other personnel actions; evaluates employee performance Manages the development and implementation employee work schedules to ensure proper coverage Directs, supervises, and assists in planning overall operation of supported living homes Supervises and provides assessment, development, implementation, and evaluation of Individual Service Plan reviews and evaluations to ensure the adequacy of services Provides liaison services with parents, employees, community agencies, and other interested parties Ensures compliance with all applicable standards Prepares and submits required reports and correspondence Provides staff training programs May perform delegated nursing and direct care tasks and/or procedures Performs other related duties as assigned   Position Requirements Minimum Qualifications & Experience: One year of experience in residential programming One year of supervisory experience Certifications in First Aid and CPR - adult, child and infant; delegated nursing Valid Ohio Driver’s License with Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles and proof of auto insurance Strong communication skills, strong interpersonal skills Excellent computer skills – including spreadsheets and word processing tools – and ability to learn new programs expeditiously Preferred Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related course of study  Two years of supervisory experience Two years of experience working with developmentally and intellectually disabled individuals Special Skills & Requirements: Must be able to communicate in English – including spoken (either face-to-face or over the phone) and in writing Must be detail oriented and have competent literacy and writing, documentation, communications and interpersonal abilities Must be able to use tools and equipment as required – including pushing/pulling wheelchairs, lifting consumers with Hoyer lifts Must be able to lift, bend, push and pull up to 50 pounds All candidates who have received an offer of employment will be required to undergo a pre-employment background check, drug screen, and health screen as applicable for the role.
