Sumary: The Content Specialist will work in a dynamic, growing, fast-paced environment to support new processes and methods of working to obtain, manage and disseminate product data and content throughout the organization including via B2B eCommerce platform, internal systems and external customers as needed. This position will be directly responsible for interacting with manufacturer partners, developing data inputs, and managing information. The position will support the adoption & growth of a systematic process for managing content within the organization. This position may also support process development and additional content management. You will be required to manage your time effectively, sometimes working alone and other times coordinating efforts with other cross-functional team members.

Role Priorities:

Product Data Management

  • Manage internal and external relationships with key partners to gather product information (details, images, attribution, etc.) in a deadline driven environment
  • Maintain and improve content integrity and data process management across the organization
  • Obtain, edit and determine image presentation to represent products thoroughly and accurately
  • Complete product attribution to drive online merchandising
  • Apply and maintain style & data guidelines to ensure consistent product presentation
  • Monitor data validation communication to ensure new records
  • Ensure accurate, up-to-date data is available to the organization
  • Manage additional content related needs as required
  • Collaborate with Marketing team when promotions and updates are required.

SEO & SEM

  • Manage keywords and key phrases to optimize website search
  • Efficiently manage and optimize product descriptions to drive online sales

Reporting & Analysis

  • Assist in the management, reporting and analysis of established KPI's and site analytics

Customer Support

  • Assist new and existing customers with support including account activation and onboarding
  • Provide customer assistance and troubleshooting.
 
Position Requirements

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications (mandatory)

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 1-2 years working in a professional environment
  • Must be proficient in MS Excel (Mid – Advanced)
  • Strong knowledge of and familiarity with social media platforms
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, accuracy with data entry and strong problem solving and analytical skills. Accepts other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of data management & content management systems strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics, HTML programming experience, Adobe Photoshop, SEMRUSH
