Reports To: Regional Operations Manager - Retail

FLSA Status: Regular Exempt

 

ROLE SUMMARY:

The Regional Training Manager is responsible for supporting the continued learning for Trulieve employees to improve overall operations within the region.

 

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Recruit and oversee Regional Field trainers; leading, teaching and evaluating to support their growth.
  • Work with the Field Trainers to determine training needs by observing operational opportunities, studying sales results, consulting with General Manager, Area Managers, and Directors.
  • Work in tandem with Learning and Development team to collaborate on additional learning needs.
  • Implement training programs that will prepare employees for the next step of their career paths.
  • Responsible for creating product education for Trulieve products and 3rd party brands.
  • Effectively partners with the Area Managers, Regional Operations Manager and Directors to analyze operational and developmental opportunities and creates strategic, regional solutions that support the field leadership teams.
  • Collaborates with the Regional Operations Manager and Directors in the development of management teams to ensure that the highest level of training and execution is delivered.

 

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must have strong knowledge of operations, sales processes, and company policies.
  • Excellent presentation and coaching skills.
  • Must be able to deliver training modules using a variety of training techniques and must be experienced working with computer-based training software and learning management systems.
  • Hands on experience with e-learning platforms and instructor led training modules.
  • Very strong written, verbal and presentation skills.
  • Must be extremely organized and skilled in prioritizing multiple projects.
  • Must have the ability monitor, evaluate, and record training activities for program effectiveness.
  • Ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and with a variety of personalities at various seniority levels
  • Strong interpersonal skills, business sense, and professionalism to communicate with all levels of management.
  • Must thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changes
  • Ability to manage the full training cycle, including in-person activities and web-based learning
  • Solid ability with the use of English language. Spanish as an additional language is a plus.
  • Additional certification in training is a plus

 

ADDITIONAL MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be able to move intermittently throughout the workday.
  • Must be able to see and hear or use prosthetics that willenable these senses to function adequately to ensure requirements of this position can be fully met.
  • Must function independently, and have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with residents, personnel, and support agencies.
  • Must be able to relate to and work with ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and at times hostile people in the facility.
  • Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 25 pounds to a minimum height of 5 feet and be able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance.

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 25 lbs. to a minimum height of 5 feet and able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance
  • Must be able to work seated/standing as appropriate at workstations for extended periods of time, maintain body equilibrium while climbing ladders, stairways, stopping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching, and use hands/fingers to hold, grasp, turn, pick, pinch frequently/constantly to complete tasks
  • Must have visual acuity with/without job aids to perform activities such as reading, viewing a computer terminal, visual inspection involving small parts/details. Clarity of vision at 20 ft or more in day and night/dark conditions
  • Must be able to speak and communicate verbally at conversation levels with co-workers, vendors, etc. (Moderate noise)

 

WORK SCHEDULE:

  • Up to 40+ hours weekly with flexible hours depending on store needs. Must be available to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays. Travel 50-75% of work schedule.
