Regional Field Trainer - Retail

ROLE SUMMARY:
The Regional Field Trainer is responsible for supporting the Regional Training Manager with continued learning for Trulieve employees to improve overall operations within the region.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Determine training needs by observing operational opportunities, studying sales results, consulting with General Manager and Area Managers during store visits.
- Assist with the implementation of training programs that will prepare employees for the next step of their career paths.
- Assist with creating product education for Trulieve products and 3rd party brands.
- Train employees on how to promote Trulieve products and 3rd party brands effectively
- Partners with the Regional Training Manager to analyze operational and developmental opportunities.
- Assist with creating strategic, regional solutions that support the field leadership teams.
- Provide the highest level of training to all retail employees, focusing on management and leadership to provide
- Conduct training sessions using various training methods to engage employees, including hands-on and interactive activities.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have strong knowledge of operations, sales processes, and company policies.
- Excellent presentation and coaching skills.
- Must be able to deliver training modules using a variety of training techniques and must be experienced working with computer-based training software and learning management systems.
- Hands on experience with e-learning platforms and instructor led training modules.
- Very strong written, verbal and presentation skills
- Must be extremely organized and skilled in prioritizing multiple projects
- Must have the ability monitor, evaluate, and record training activities for program effectiveness.
- Must thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changes
- Ability to manage the full training cycle, including in-person activities and web-based learning
- Solid ability with the use of English language. Spanish as an additional language is a plus.
- Additional certification in training is a plus
ADDITIONAL MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be able to move intermittently throughout the workday.
- Must be able to see and hear or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately to ensure requirements of this position can be fully met.
- Must function independently, and have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with residents, personnel, and support agencies.
- Must be able to relate to and work with ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and at times hostile people in the facility.
- Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 25 pounds to a minimum height of 5 feet and be able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 25 lbs. to a minimum height of 5 feet and able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance
- Must be able to work seated/standing as appropriate at workstations for extended periods of time, maintain body equilibrium while climbing ladders, stairways, stopping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching, and use hands/fingers to hold, grasp, turn, pick, pinch frequently/constantly to complete tasks
- Must have visual acuity with/without job aids to perform activities such as reading, viewing a computer terminal, visual inspection involving small parts/details. Clarity of vision at 20 ft or more in day and night/dark conditions
- Must be able to speak and communicate verbally at conversation levels with co-workers, vendors, etc. (Moderate noise)
WORK SCHEDULE:
- Up to 40+ hours weekly with flexible hours depending on store needs. Must be available to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays. Travel 75% of work schedule.
