Description

We are seeking an Interagency Coordinator II to support the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) located in Ft. Belvoir, Virginia.

 

This effort will assist in creating a network of likeminded allies and partners with increased threat reduction capabilities that contribute and advance the interests and security of the United States of America. It will assist in building strategic relationships with key international partners that enhance threat reduction on a global scale. It will also support the resilience of the global nonproliferation framework by building partner capacities to enforce the tenants of that framework.

 

Description:

The Interagency Coordinator II will be responsible for providing operational support and coordination with various Interagency departments.

 

Additional Responsibilities Include, but are not Limited To:

  • Assist CTR leadership in conducting engagements with Interagency for ongoing and emerging projects supporting partner nations.
  • Develop recommendations to the CTR leadership and facilitate the identification of trends and the desired future state for the CTR Program.
  • Develop, maintain, and present briefings to all levels of staff.
  • Track, monitor, and respond to various office taskings.
  • Liaison and communicate with various Interagency personnel.
  • Participate in meetings, trips, workshops, and related information gathering events.
  • Document best practices across all programs.
  • Travel OCONUS/overseas up to 25% of the time annually.
  • Assist with proposal development, if necessary.
  • Perform other duties, as assigned.
 
Position Requirements

Experience:

  • Four (4) to nine (9) years’ related experience.
  • Demonstrated experience assisting and supporting numerous projects.
  • Demonstrated experience at developing requirements, establishing long-range plans, defining program success factors. Demonstrated experience working with Department of State or other agencies desired.
  • Previous experience with DTRA desired.

 

Education:

  • BA/BS required.
    • MA/MS preferred.

 

Other Required Skills & Abilities:

  • Must be able to effectively communicate with customer and fulfill all duties and responsibilities as listed in the contract.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite including, but not limited to: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Must be able to travel OCONUS/overseas up to 25% of the time annually.

 

COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement:

Security Clearance:

  • Secret security clearance.
    • TS/SCI security clearance highly desired.

 

US Citizenship: This position supports a U.S. Government Contract whose terms require Sawdey Solution Services to staff it only with U.S. Citizens.
