Share Email Opening Title Financial Analyst  Category Accounting/Finance   Description At Blue, we discover pathways to realize your possibilities Under general supervision, performs complex Asset Liability Management functions; conducts financial, statistical and analytical studies (what-if’s); prepares and assists in the preparation of financial reports, ALCO information and Credit Union investing activities.  Manages credit union finances within set regulation and policy guidelines; other related duties as assigned. Specialized subject matter expertise in ALM, ALCO and investment functions of a  financial institution; knowledge of general principles of accounting as well as significant, directly related and progressive experience with financial institution  ALM.  Acts as lead for finance team, recommends decisions of considerable impact or consequences involving highly specialized and/or technical areas requiring application and interpretation of data, facts, regulation, policy and law. Performs complex ALM functions, monitoring NII, liquidity and NEV risk. Coordinates quarterly ALM reports with third party vendor. Monitors credit union liquidity and makes recommendations for necessary action. Processes investment transactions and monitors monthly reports. Completes monthly Operational ALCO packets and coordinates meetings. Performs monthly financial summaries and reports. Serves on ALCO committees and Pricing Team. Serves on Investment committee and prepares what-if’s and investment recommendations. Generates accrued interest and month-to-date interest on all securities for accounting entries/reconciliation. Develops and produces investment reports and data for meetings. Performs other job related duties as assigned. Full Time Position Compensation: $47,063 - $70,595   Position Requirements Five years to ten years of similar or related experience. A college degree, emphasis in Finance. A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to normal courtesy and tact.  Four-year degree in Finance. Two to five years experience in a financial institution. Must be proficient with general office equipment and computers/software.
