Are you an experienced Emergency Department (ED) Coder (Remote) looking for a change? ?Join the eCatalyst Healthcare team! We are currently looking for Remote Emergency Department (ED) Coders (Remote) proficient in advanced coding skills using ICD-10, HCPCS, and CPT. The Remote Emergency Department (ED) Coder (Remote) will also review documentation for internal and external audits, process rejections and denials, handle surgical coding, conduct physician or other care provider education, and perform other coding needs for inpatient and outpatient professional charges. It's expected that members of our team follow all departmental coding quality guidelines and meet productivity standards while maintaining a 95% or better overall accuracy rate. This position is 100% remote and allows you to work from home. A secure home office set-up with high-speed internet is required. This position requires independent decision making and effective communication.   Position Requirements Minimum Requirements? Possess a valid CCS, RHIA, or RHIT certification required. Must have 5+ years of facility ED coding experience. Proficient in coding E/M, injections, and infusions. Must be able to read, interpret, and analyze medical record documentation for accurate coding. Successfully identify conflicting, incomplete, or ambiguous documentation and be comfortable initiating physician queries. Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Maintain eCatalyst Healthcare quality standards of 95% accuracy.
