Share Email Opening Apply Now Title Staffing Specialist  Category Human Resources   Description POSITION SUMMARY: The Staffing Specialist will support the Regional Human Resource teams in talent development, outreach, recruiting, selection, and applicant tracking. This position will develop recruiting strategies that generate a pipeline of qualified candidates. REPORTS TO: Human Resources Director   ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Supports Regional HR teams with recruiting; applicant screening, job postings, advertising, marketing, school/career fairs, interview scheduling, employment screenings Oversees company’s Applicant Tracking System (ATS) Partners with HRBP’s to fill talent needs across the organization. Oversees outreach programs and acts as a liaison between Midwest Eye and local Universities. Maintains talent data including job description development and maintenance, EEO and all required documentation and reporting. Responsible for maintaining all requisitions and tracking applicant traffic, length of posting, and the candidate process pipeline. Works with Director to identify and address issues and trends in relation to turnover and job openings. Performs other related duties as required by Director.   Position Requirements EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree in HR or business field or two or more years in HR or related experience. HR Recruiting knowledge preferred. Experience with applicant tracking systems and on-line recruiting tools preferred.   COMPETENCIES: Maintains compliance with the organization’s confidentiality policy. Comfortable working with a variety of people and able to meet deadlines. Good communicators and possess negotiation skills. Good working knowledge of all the jobs within the organization. Excellent organization, verbal, and written communication skills. Ability to speak clearly and have candidates understands language without misinterpretation or confusion. Professional maturity, appearance and demeanor required. Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Extreme attention to detail is a necessity. Monitors MWEC processes to ensure compliance with the organization’s policies and with the guidelines set by relevant regulatory agencies. Develops implements, maintains, and evaluates quality control studies to improve services Midwest Eye Consultants provides to others.   PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT: Physical Activity: Talking, Hearing, Repetitive motion. Physical Requirements: Sedentary work. Involves sitting most of the time. The worker is required to have visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned.
