Job Summary

eCatalyst Healthcare Solutions is looking for a Director of Human Resources . The Director of Human Resources (HR) provides leadership, subject matter expertise, and daily management of the HR function. They are responsible for setting, enforcing, and evaluating legally compliant human resources policies, procedures, and best practices, and identifying and implementing long-range strategic talent management goals.


Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Collaborates with executive leadership to define the organization's long-term mission and goals; identifies ways to support this mission through talent acquisition and management
  • Identifies key performance indicators for the organization's human resource and talent management functions; assesses the organization's success and market competitiveness based on these metrics
  • Research, develop, and implement competitive compensation, benefits, performance appraisal, and employee incentive programs
  • Research, develop and implement an employee engagement program for both office based and remote employees
  • Acts as company Benefit Administrator by managing the process for enrollment, notifying involved parties of any changes to deductions and withholdings, and distributing benefit information including 401K notices, FSA, PTO, and others
  • Assists with bi-monthly payroll
  • Develop and implement talent sourcing strategies to support broader organizational goals and reduce recruitment costs; plans for individual positions or in support of a broad functional strategy
  • Full-cycle recruitment which encompasses sourcing, maintaining hiring database(s), interviewing, and closing talent
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment, benefits, compensation, benefits, insurance, safety, and other laws, regulations, and requirements
  • Develop the annual HR education and training calendar
  • Develop HR content for the company’s Learning Management System
  • Ensure mandated training is provided and documented, including HIPAA Privacy and Security, new hire, and annual training
  • Maintains updated knowledge of state and federal laws, regulations, and best practices in employment law, human resources, and talent management
  • Drafts and implements the organization's staffing budget, and the budget for the human resource department
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains HR staff
  • Oversees the daily workflow of the department
  • Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations
  • Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy

 

 
Position Requirements

  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills
  • Thorough knowledge of multiple state’s employment-related laws and regulations
  • Knowledge of and experience with varied human resource information systems and talent acquisition sites
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related software

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required; Master’s degree highly desired.
  • At least 5 years of human resource management experience required, with strategic, talent management, and/or business development experience highly desired.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP is highly desired.
  • Experience working in a rapidly growing company highly desired.
  • Experience working with employees in multiple states and knowledge of multiple state’s laws highly desired.
