R&D Technician 


Job Title: R & D Technician

Reports To: R & D Lead

Date: January 28, 2022



Successful candidate will be a self-motivated, hard-working individual with hands-on experience in consumer and pharmaceutical products, such as solution, suspension, semisolid and/or solid formulations.


Support the development of pharmaceutical or nutritional products, demonstrating a clear understanding of basic processing and pharmacology principles.

Operate and maintain R&D equipment; execute procedures for product development and manufacturing.

Execute new project batches through accurate documentation, work space organization and technical processing requirements maintenance with detail and accuracy.

Ensure work area is clean and organized on a daily basis; following R&D procedures for proper cleaning of pharmaceutical production equipment and facility.

Perform required in-process product quality checks and other product related analytical analysis.

Maintain RD stability log and monitor RD stability program.

Execute procedures to complete tasks in a safe and efficient manner.

Work in collaboration with others as part of a team.

Effectively communicate issues to the necessary team members and supervisors.

Adhere to all cGMPs, compliance/regulatory mandates and quality requirements.

Assist in the identification and implementation of continuous improvement opportunities.

Perform other duties as assigned to meet departmental and Company objectives.


B.S. in scientific discipline as well as with 2-3 years’ related experience in Cosmetics, Personal Care, Consumer Products, OTC or Pharmaceutical industries.

Must be highly productive, self-directed, and self-motivated. Must be able to fully comprehend the client’s problem and work independently to solve the problem in the most efficient manner possible.

Ability to effectively manage multiple projects under short time lines to produce high quality work

Working experience with analytical testing is preferred

Excellent written and verbal communication, a team player

Demonstrate compliance with procedures and policies.

Strong attention to detail



Minimum B.S. degree in Analytical Chemistry, Biophysical/biochemical sciences, pharmaceutical sciences or related scientific fields required; advance degree is a big plus.


Minimum two years of pharmaceutical R&D experience is required.
