Description

VSolvit LLC is seeking a Business Analyst to join our Corona, CA team full-time supporting our NSWC Corona Acquisition and Readiness Performance Assessment Information Technology (ARPA IT) program. This role focuses on requirements gathering and analysis, program management documentation and general administration, and quality assurance. The Business Analyst is expected to grow their knowledge of the key functional areas of the program to better understand the needs of the customer and user community.    

As with any position, additional expectations exist.  Some of these are, but are not limited to, adhering to normal working hours, meeting deadlines, following company policies as outlined by the Employee Handbook, communicating regularly with assigned supervisor, and staying focused on the assigned tasks.

Remote / telework is approved for this position.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with customers, stakeholders, and product owners for requirements analysis to define requirements/acceptance criteria and respond to requested changes
  • Develop and deliver program documentation and administrative products
  • Assist in continuous process improvement and peer review work products
  • Support the program manager contract execution efforts, including financial analysis, reporting, documentation, and development of contract products
  • Operate effectively and independently within a large team
  • Manage and prioritize multiple assignments while ensuring technical accuracy and timely delivery for all work products
  • Able to complete training and/or obtain professional certifications as required by the contract
 
Position Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 2+ years of project analyst/support experience, including financial management
  • Basic computer skills and ability to use word processing tools, i.e., Microsoft Office
  • Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills to include the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders, technical staff, and management across all levels

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Secret Clearance
  • Experience with Government and Navy software development projects
  • Experience using Agile methodologies
  • Project management experience

Critical Requirements:

  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Must be able to pass a standard company background check and willing/able to obtain and hold a DoD Secret Clearance
