SCOPE OF JOB

The Sales Planning and Analysis team is vital to the strategy development and direction-setting within Sales and Marketing. The Senior Manager of Sales Planning and Analysis will have overall responsibility and accountability for all activities including but not limited to:

  • Day-to-day management and oversight of Sales Planning and Analysis team

  • Establish performance evaluation criteria (KPIs) and methodology for measurement and target setting

  • Development and standardize performance reports for sales activities against internal metrics

  • Establish methodology for measuring competitiveness of VinFast vehicles against the overall market and primary competitive sets

  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses as needed to support Sales and Marketing initiatives and requests from other VinFast organizations

  • Collaborate with other functions and areas of the business during the recommendation development process to secure buy-in

  • Explore opportunities for continuous improvement of the sales and purchase experience for VinFast consumers

  • Train and mentor new team members

  • Establish and reinforce a positive and inclusive culture focused on hard work, innovative thinking and having fun

 
Position Requirements

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • A minimum of 8-10 years of progressive work experience in automotive OEM strategic planning, sales planning and/or other performance management and reporting functions

  • Experience managing a team of analysts

  • Automotive electric vehicle (EV) experience not required but a plus

  • Management consulting and data analytics experience a plus

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Strong relationship building and management skills

  • High level of proficiency in business productivity tools and software (PowerPoint, Excel, visualization software)

  • High levels of attention to detail and organization
