Position Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Two (2) years of casino marketing, promotions or special events experience.
  2. Demonstrates understanding of Casino promotional strategy.
  3. Demonstrates ability to write promotional copy.
  4. Strong mathematical abilities to analyze patterns and accurately compute figures.
  5. High School Diploma or GED; college coursework preferred.
  6. Experience with budgeting and fiscal management.
  7. Demonstrates computer skills in Word, Excel, database and the internet.
  8. Excellent customer service skills.
  9. Physical requirements: able to sit for long periods at a work station; repetitive motion of arms, wrists, hands and fingers; good auditory acuity; able to bend, lift and maneuver while performing routine office functions; able to lift and maneuver items up to 25 lbs., and able to work in/around second-hand smoke or in adverse weather for outdoor promotions.
  10. Confident communication skills - able to verbally interact with others tactfully and professionally; able to generate business level written correspondence; and consistently demonstrates interpersonal skills that promotes effective communication.
  11. Able to work a varied schedule including evenings and weekends.
  12. Requires High Security Gaming License clearance.
  13. Must be at least 21 years of age.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Experience with Oasis or other Casino Management Systems.
 
Description

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for the successful management of all aspects pertaining to marketing promotions. Promotions are those events developed to appeal and attract gamers through targeted promotions.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  1. Participates in marketing meetings that target player development programs, identifying promotions and events that will entice customer satisfaction, loyalty and return visits.
  2. Responsible for developing, implementing and executing the annual promotions calendar, to include maintaining budgets, staffing, pro and post forma, and training.
  3. Works with marketing director by recommending promotions based on results and customer data trends to ensure promotions calendar is delivering budgeted goals.
  4. In depth analysis of historical data regarding promotions, gaming trends and apply to current data to find or develop promotions which will maximize casino revenue.
  5. Executes marketing calendar and promotions under established timelines.
  6. Communicates promotional calendar and task needs in a timely and concise manner, to ensure promotional support and execution, including providing detailed rules outlining the promotions, timeframes, and assignments, and associated costs and delivery. Ensures that WRC staff are thoroughly aware of the promotion for smooth implementation and delivery.
  7. Works with marketing team to promote promotions through media resources.
  8. Works with vendors, booking agents, and staff to develop special events and entertainment offerings.
  9. Assists in the completion and maintenance of promotion results.
  10. Ensures compliance with regulatory laws, employee handbook, department policies and procedures, safety codes, etc.
  11. Maintains a flexible schedule to plan and execute promotions, including weekends, holidays and varied shifts.
  12. Promotes a clean, safe and healthy work environment for employees and guest. Promptly addresses hazards and reports all concerns to casino marketing manager.
  13. Ensures that the operation of equipment, tools and materials are handled in a safe manner.
  14. Promotes internal guest service standards through courteous and respectful behavior.
  15. Other duties as assigned.
 
Salary $60K-$90K
