Country Manager
Desired Regions: Europe - Primary Focus is Spain, France, or Benelux

Purpose: Manage transition of the Country from a Distributor Market to a Direct Market. Achieve revenue and profitability targets. Drive marketing efforts to both customers and the general public. Reports to the Director of EMEA.

Location: Major City in the Country. (Desired Regions: Europe - Primary Focus is Spain, France, or Benelux)

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ability to lead the establishment of a head office
  • Develop annual business plan to meet financial and non-financial targets
  • Provide leadership for effectively sustaining existing successful national markets and developing new or poorly performing national markets to generate sales to meet annual objectives
  • Effectively communicate with sales management and other departments within Sciton (e.g., Marketing, Service, R&D) on all pertinent issues
  • Communicate customer needs to field service when needed
  • Provide product, sales, and basic clinical application presentations and training to groups of distributors and customers in support of Sciton's products and programs. Customize presentations and training to specific audience needs
  • Sustain customer relationship by providing ongoing education, preventing, and solving problems, and enhancing customer products
  • Organize and attend sales meetings, trade shows, seminars, and other sales promotion events in the region
  • Build and maintain CMR database
  • Monitor movement of demonstration systems within the region with maintenance of proper documentation

 
Position Requirements

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years successful outside sales and management experience that demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of the sales process and ethical business practices
  • Ability to work effectively within the Sciton team
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and project management skills
  • Ability to execute against both short-term deliverables and long-term strategic initiatives
  • Proactive problem solver
  • University diploma required
