Our goal is to grow together and enjoy the work that we do as a team.   Description VSolvit has an opening for an Network Engineer to support the Marine Corps Installations West (MCIWEST) G-6 Radio Services requirements onboard Camp Pendleton, in San Diego, California. The successful candidate will provide technical engineering services to support the integrated networks and associated security systems.  Responsibilities also include: Administer network equipment/services Provide network development, installation, administration, maintenance, and problem resolution support Perform vulnerability/risk analysis of systems and network Manage security of IT and communications systems and networks Provide encryption key management Perform physical security compliance Assist with Cybersecurity Risk Management Framework (RMF) Assessments and Authorizations Assist with managing the Cybersecurity posture implementation and sustainment Assist with analyzing information assurance related technical issues and provides engineering and technical support in solving problems.   Position Requirements Basic Qualifications: 3+ years of networking experience 1+ years’ experience supporting government networked systems Experience managing a network and associated network devices Must be a team player and possess a strong ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team as well as work independently with minimal supervision Excellent written and oral communications skills Security+ certification or ability to obtain one shortly after hire U.S. Citizen Secret security clearance Knowledge of the RMF and implementation of DoD Cybersecurity standards Experience with conducting Cybersecurity testing and managing STIGS   Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a technical field of study Working knowledge of Juniper networks Motorola Astro 25 certification(s) Experience with the implementation of IA principles, National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) special publications, federal regulations, security standards, and DoD and USMC policies Ability to perform Cybersecurity systems engineering tasking, including analysis of security requirements' development and management, networking protocols, and Cybersecurity risk management   Company Summary: Join the VSolvit Team!
