Contract Administrator 

Description

SUMMARY

Responsible for the creation and management of all MNGE contracts.  This position will work with all departments, procurement and legal on the contract process and serve as the liaison between internal and external parties during the contract process.  Maintain thorough records of all documents related to the contracts and ensure all documents are kept in a central repository.  All functions will be performed within the guidelines of the MNGE policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards and objectives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
1. Create, review and analyze an array of contracts for various transactions
2. Initiate the renewal of expiring contracts
3. Negotiate and approve contract terms while ensuring that projects remain within the established budget
4. Maintain contract documents and correspondence
5. Serve as liaison between internal and external parties during contract development and negotiation
6. Coordinate contract process with procurement and legal, which also includes working with the vendors on any changes legal requires
7. Conduct research and analysis on contract requirements, special provisions, terms/conditions and language as needed in order to
    evaluate feasibility and clarification.
8. Analyze potential risk that contract changes may pose to MNGE
9. Act as an advisor to department contractual holders regarding contractual requirements, specifications and/or government/tribal
   regulations. 
10. Report status of current contract processes to executive management
11. Work on contract related problems that arise
12. Ensure all contracts follow MNGE policies and procedures related to insurance requirements, venue, etc
13. Provides exceptional customer service to all departments and communicates in a pleasant, friendly, and professional manner at all
      times. Maintains a professional work environment.
14. Adheres to Muscogee (Creek) Nation law, as well as MNGE regulatory, departmental and company policies.
15. Additional duties and projects as directed. 

 
Position Requirements

EDUCATION
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field required.
Masters level degree preferred
Contract Certification preferred

EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 6 – 8 years of contract management/administration required 
Possesses superior attention to detail in order to spot inconsistencies in contracts
Exemplifies knowledge of contract law, accounting principles and finance
Excellent reading and language comprehension. 
Ability to work with a team at all levels of an organization. 
Effective ability to negotiate and execute contracts. 
Has strong negotiation and mediation skills (take off if not negotiating)
Exceptional communication skills (oral and written) 
Time management skills and organization is required

 
Gaming License Must obtain.maintain a gaming license with the Office of Public Gaming.
