BOSS Restaurants, LLC. is a sister company to Pizza Properties, Inc. which was established in 2017 by local restaurateurs Kirk Robison and John Geske. It is an exciting new fast-casual concept devoted to servicing fresh, hand-made chicken tenders with irresistible sauces, all-beef grilled hot dogs, hand-cut fries, Texas toast and delicious frozen custard. PURPOSE: To maximize entertainment sales and profits by providing an exceptional guest experience with game playability, safety and game repairs/maintenance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for maintaining a clean, fun and safe environment for guests and employees.
  • Interact with guests answering any inquiries, complaints and handling all situations to ensure a positive guest experience.
  • Responsible for scheduling and performing preventive maintenance on all games and rides.
  • Responsible for repairing all games and rides, to include the maintenance of the play park.
  • Maximize game sales by maintaining all Peter Piper game room standards while managing within the game room budget.
  • Completion of all required documentation and adherence to all company policies and procedures (including, but not limited to, token pulls, inventory, calendars, logs, etc.)
  • Responsible to develop and train Games Attendants and Games Team Leaders.
  • Responsible for ordering prizes and maintaining an accurate inventory.
  • Maintains key, token, redemption ticket, and prize security.
  • Purchasing and receiving parts.
  • Regular, reliable and predicable attendance.
  • Executing the Game Prep/Preventative Maintenance program.
  • Maintaining the game room and play park cleanliness standards.
  • Implementing the GM's game room schedule to maximize appropriate guest service.
  • Attend and participate in management staff meetings.
  • Responsible for supervising weeky token pull and related paperwork.
  • Assist the GM in conducting employee performance reviews for game room employees.
  • Document and report all guest/employee incidents, and notify GM.
  • Ensure entertainment employees comply with all policies and procedures of the company.
  • Other duties as assigned by the GM or Area Supervisor.
 
Position Requirements

EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent education and experience.
  • Two years of formal training in electronics or four years of actual on the job game room equipment repair and maintenance experience in a supervisory position.
  • Any additional formal or on the job training in mechanics, carpentry, pneumatics, purchasing, or management is a plus.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Valid Driver's License
  • Must carry Auto Liability insurance that meets state minimum requirements on any vehicle driven for the company
  • Must have an auto availalbe to drive for the company
  • Must have a phone
  • Must be willing to pursue training and self-development opportunities
  • Must have the desire and aptitude to train and share expertise with others

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND WORKER CHARACTERISTICS:

  • Ability to supervisor and train several Games Attendants and to develop Games Team Leaders.
  • Effective oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional personal appearance.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize job duties while working in a fast pace and hectic environment.
  • Ability to resolve problem situations immediately.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of technical instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
  • Ability to use a digital volt meter, read schematics, do componenet level soldering, trouble shoot basic monitor problems and navigate a basic programming menu.
  • Ability to apply mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to real life business situations.
  • Ability to use a computer and calculator, and have a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Ability to work flexible hours. Ability to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays. Ability to work 50 to 55 hours per week.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, feel, reach with hands and arms. Must be able to talk and hear. The employees is required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb, or balance and use the ability to smell. The employees must occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. There is regular exposure to video terminal dispolay. The noise level is usually loud.
