GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: Performs food transporting and service related duties in the daily operation of assigned Senior Food nutrition sites, including filling nutrition site supply orders and receipting and delivering program income to Central Office on a daily basis; works under the direction of the Senior Food Cook/Manager; performs related duties as required.
STATEMENT OF TASKS:
Loads portable ovens and other food containers with dinners in preparation for transporting to Senior Food nutrition sites;
Transports dinners to Senior Food nutrition sites as assigned;
Returns portable ovens and other food containers to the GCCARD central kitchen daily;
Receives and delivers program income for all assigned Senior Food nutrition sites to the Central Office daily;
Fills Senior Food nutrition site supply orders and delivers orders based on schedule established by the Cook/Manager;
Transports produce and other food supplies to and from the GCCARD central kitchen;
Maintains daily mileage log;
Monitors and assists in the maintenance of the mechanical condition of the transporting vehicles according to scheduling as established by the Senior Food Director;
Attends all staff meetings which deal with the improvement of the delivery of services to Senior Food nutrition sites and participants.
