The Lone Tree Arts Center is looking for a fundraising professional with a strong grant writing skill set and the ability to cultivate corporate relationships. Located in one of the fastest-growing areas in the state, the Lone Tree Arts Center has quickly built a reputation for artistic excellence, commitment to outstanding customer service, and popular programming. The Director of Grants and Corporate Development works closely with the Executive Director to seek out grants to support the work of the Arts Center, and to implement successful donor relation strategies.
EXAMPLES OF DUTIES: Under the direct supervision of the Executive Director, the Director of Grants and Corporate Development is responsible for the following:
- Preparing foundation and government grant applications (e.g. NEA, SCFD) and reports
- Researching and identifying likely corporate and foundation fundraising prospects
- Creating successful sponsorship proposals
- Identify and implement strategies for the cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of new, current, and lapsed corporate sponsors.
- Develop and implement, in collaboration with development team, a measurable fundraising plan, ensuring that goals can be met or exceeded
- Attending business meetings and other public functions as a representative of the Arts Center
- Assist in writing an annual report
- Support the Executive Director with the Fund Board
- Other duties as assigned
