Share Email Opening Title Press Brake Operator  Position Press Brake Operator   Description Press brake operators produce parts and tools from metal using a press brake, a computer numeric controlled (CNC) piece of equipment that makes precision bends. The use of hand tools, tape measure and converting decimals to fractions are part of the daily tasks. The use of overhead cranes will also be required.   Position Requirements ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES Must be able to work at fast pace, follow instructions and be self-motivated Requires excellent math skills including fractions, and geometry Requires ability to read a tape measure, calipers and other tools Requires ability to read blueprints and calculate bend allowances Work independently with minimal supervision Must work well with others Be able to lift up to 40-50 lbs routinely Ability to Stand for 10 hours Ensure and verify material Provide immediate feedback when problems occur   QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required Must have Press Brake Experience (1-2 minimum years of experience) (Amada experience preferred)   PREFERRED SKILLS Ideal candidate will have some experience with fabrication or machining Knowledge/experience with blue prints is a plus Good references with excellent work attendance and attitude   EOE Statement We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
