JOB SUMMARY: This position will work closely with other Familia Adelante staff, community, and El Centro/CFS to provide outreach, recruitment, and implementation of Familia Adelante program.


  • Outreach for Familia Adelante including the following:
  • Participation in community speaking engagements/presentations
  • Monthly communication with school districts and internal/external community organizations

Distribution of Flyers for Familia Adelante

  • Recruitment for Familia Adelante including the following:
  • Obtain and review referrals for Familia Adelante
  • Ensure referrals meet eligibility requirements
  • Maintain communication with referrals and/or referral source
  • Plan and host Familia Adelante orientations

Implementation of Familia Adelante including the following:

  • Run 3 groups at 12-week cycle of Familia Adelante for the year utilizing curriculum
  • Collaborate regularly with other Familia Adelante Bilingual CHW
  • Facilitate weekly 90min groups with participants in their preferred language (Spanish/English)
  • Case Management: including internal/external referrals
  • Documentation of all case management and group sessions
  • Plan and host Familia Adelante graduations after culmination of each cycle

OTHER DUTIES : as assigned by El Centro Director

Position Requirements

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:  computer literacy, Fluent Spanish (oral)


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:     High School diploma with 3 years’ experience or associate degree 2 years’ experience.

Weekly Work Hours up to 20  
Proposed Salary $24 per hour
