Valley Community Services Board serves as the single point of entry into publicly funded mental health, developmental, and substance use disorder services for these localities.

Description

Valley Community Services Board is looking for compassionate and dedicated people to join our  intermediate Care Facilities (ICF) Team as a Direct Care Professional! Team members work together to foster independence and community engagement for individuals with developmental disabilities in a residential home. Full-time and part-time positions are available for all shifts.

Benefits

  • Health insurance as low as $21.16/month for individuals. Family and dependent plans are also available.
  • Sign-on bonus of $1,500, included in full with the first paycheck.
  • Up to $700/month stipend available for team members.
  • Up to 10% compensation increase available for obtaining relevant certifications.
  • Nine paid holidays, with double-pay provided for holiday shifts.
  • Accrue up to 20 days of paid time off (PTO) per year from year one. PTO is immediately available upon accrual.

Position Requirements

Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Satisfactory completion of Direct Care Professional and Medication Administration training courses.
  • Once hired, must maintain certification in CPR/First Aid and other required trainings.
  • Must pass required pre-employment screenings, including, but not limited to, criminal history and experience verification.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A Virginia driver’s license with at least 0 points.

Our ICF homes are subject to regulations provided by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and the Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA), which currently require team members to wear a mask at all times around clients.  Team members are required to be vaccinated against COVID-19 or obtain a valid exemption.

 
Salary Information Up to $18.53/hr
