Together the five businesses create a leading omnichannel retailer of specialty agriculture and hydroponics equipment and supplies..   Description GreenCoast is looking for a self-motivated, General Manager to lead one of our largest and highest performing teams to achieve maximum profitability, ensure customer satisfaction, and promote the GreenCoast company values and image. If you are reliable, motivated, organized, and possess strong leadership skills we want to hear from you!   Position Requirements Primary Responsibilities: Team building Assume ultimate responsibility for your actions. Direct and Manage the three departments within your store: Sales, Account Management, and Warehouse. Develop new and current sales employees by providing extensive hands-on training for safety, sales, customer service, operational and performance standards. Participate directly in hiring and ensure that all short and long-term staffing requirements (scheduling) are met for successful store operations. Retail operations Administrative functions including, but not limited to, bank drops, manage payables and supply ordering Oversee warehouse management to ensure accuracy in all receiving/stocking/warehouse Inventory management and supply chain Oversee special order fulfillment process Oversee the investigation of all inventory discrepancies of open counts with a focus on developing procedures to effectively reduce future issues.   Sales Generate more sales with a focus on providing maximum enterprise profitability. Implement merchandising/marketing plans laid down by the Purchasing Team. Create an amazing customer experience Develop, direct Commercial level customers to the Commercial Team, and support their supply needs at the store level.   The ideal candidate will be Self-motivated and a quick learner A good problem solver and critical thinker w/ a high attention to detail Excellent verbal and written communication skills Experienced in change management and able to lead a team through challenging times. 3yrs+ experience working in the retail space 3yrs + in a leadership position Comfortable giving and receiving constructive criticism Able to lift up to 50lbs regularly Thriving in a fast paced environment   Pay/benefits Starting at $21-$25/hr w/ possible bonus potential Co- Sponsored Medical Benefits Voluntary Group Dental plan Casual work environment Employee Assistance Program 401k w/company match up to 4% Eligible after one year of service working reg full time.
