Share Email Opening Title Venue and Sales Manager - The High Five GR  Description We’re looking for an experienced and highly motivated Venue and Sales Manager to join our team at The High Five GR, our premier event venue located downtown in the heart of Grand Rapids, MI. The individual in this role will drive strategic growth initiatives through developing relationships in both the industry and community, developing marketing strategies, and creating a 5-star customer experience.   The Position: Fully manages The High Five venue, including but not limited to driving sales, budget and expense management, and sales forecasting. Leads The High Five Events team in alignment with our Core Values through supporting, encouraging, coaching, and maintaining accountability of team members to ensure the success of the team and the organization. Works closely with the marketing team to drive marketing and maintain The High Five as a premier wedding and event venue. Leads and assists in developing and implementing our Standard Operating Procedures for The High Five to ensure a 5-star experience for all clients, including positive resolution of any client issues or disputes.   Qualifications: You would be a great fit for this position if you have a bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, or other related field, a minimum of 7 years of experience in the event industry or community relations, and if you have demonstrated success in event planning, management, and sales. You’ll need strong organizational skills, attention to detail, an outgoing personality with the ability to communicate confidently, a passion for events, superior problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead an event planning team effectively.   What’s in it for you?
