The Recreation Therapist Assistant assists the Recreation Therapist to provide group and individual activities for the patients. Duties involve personal contact with a varying patient population and a varied work schedule that may include some weekends, evenings, and holidays. Tasks also involve record-keeping, attention to the environment, use of supplies and equipment, and maintenance of recreation supplies storage areas.
Unit Clerk is responsible for performing the observational rounds (15-minute checks) in addition to other clerical and receptionist functions of the work area. Collaborates and interacts positively with the interdisciplinary team to provide quality care and achieve desired outcomes. May be required to work other shifts/units as needed. Performs other indirect duties as assigned.
