Position Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Bachelor degree, preferably in marketing, (OR) three (3) years direct marketing experience.
  2. Two (2) years of database marketing, marketing analysis or related field experience.
  3. Must have extensive knowledge and skill with Microsoft Office, with broad knowledge of Excel and use of formulae/statistics. SQL experience required.
  4. Ability to work with multiple detail-oriented tasks, deadlines and pressure situations.
  5. Excellent communication skills – verbal, written and interpersonal.
  6. Requires a high security gaming license clearance.
  7. Must be at least 21 years of age.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

       1. Previous Casino Experience.

 

 
Description

Responsible for providing data request for marketing initiatives including direct mail campaigns, promotions, players club and marketing research. Provide database insights, oversees data entry standards and database maintenance. Must have excellent analytical skills, be organized and detail oriented, and possess a high-level computer aptitude and proficiency.

 

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  1. Assist in all resort marketing campaigns, promotions and strategies by providing database insights, creating pro formulas, conducting post analysis and reporting on campaign results.
  2. Analyze trends and patterns in the database and marketing promotions to support planning and development and maintenance of marketing programs.
  3. Provide reports on customer spending trends as needed for forecasts and budgeting; customer demographics; promotional play and participation play comparisons, and other measures as established or requested.
  4. Develop and implement strategies to effectively segment existing customer database and ensure accurate and detailed customer data collection.
  5. Makes recommendations to management based on data driven discussions, past analysis results and marketing research.
  6. Performs ad hoc analysis and data pulls.
  7. Understands, reads and/or writes database queries utilizing SQL.
  8. Research and recommend direct marketing approaches to best target database segments.
  9. Database preparation, list maintenance for exporting, merging and direct mail list management.
  10. Assists in ongoing development of customer demographics research and data.
  11. Develop clear and concise customer data collection and entry standards and adequately train front line staff to ensure customer data integrity.
  12. Maintain confidentiality of information at all times.
  13. Requires strong administrative and organizational skills to effectively communicate, problem solve and interface with various levels of employees and management, outside agencies and vendors concerning the customer database and other activities.
  14. Participation and development of a Tribal member workforce.
  15. Adhere to established laws, policies and procedures, including applicable Tribal and federal laws and codes, internal controls, state compact, employee handbook and department procedures.
  16. Complete other duties as assigned.
