The Program Manager will be responsible for executing Program Management activities and strategies throughout the organization, including those related to new product development, risk management, change management, issue management, and launch of new products. This position will be accountable for the execution of related company policies and procedures. This role will be responsible for the execution of all programs assigned and will be expected to adhere to Truck Hero program management processes.


  • Lead weekly cross-functional team meetings to ensure successful outcomes for both internal and external customers' program event/issues such as Special Builds, Audits ECNs, BOMs, Launches etc., while maintaining forecast budgets.
  • Maintain Open Issues Reports and due date timing; hold people accountable for deliverables.
  • Work with both internal and external customers directly as the main interface for the project.
  • Complete program tracking documentation and monthly Senior Management updates.
  • Manage development, reviewing process and obtaining sign-offs for programs.
  • Lead and engage in trouble shooting with the team to develop options for success during complex situations.
  • Ensure adherence to APQP / PPAP deliverables.
  • Prepare and complete action plans; production productivity for programs, resolve problems; complete audits; identify trends; determine system improvements; implement change.
  • Support financial objectives by forecasting requirements; provide inputs for project and an annual budget.
  • Originate, organize, and manage timelines and appropriately escalate issues.
  • Occasional travel to meet suppliers and internal/external customer needs.
Position Requirements

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in Engineering, manufacturing, or business.
  • 5+ years of program management experience in automotive or other manufacturing is required.
  • Experience managing within cross functional teams and matrix style organizations.

Required Licenses

  • PMP certification is preferred.

Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge

  • Firm grasp of APQP principles.
  • Proficiency with standard software applications (MS Excel, Word, Power point, Project), and familiarity with other web-based applications.
  • Ability to effectively present information to top management. Ability to write, speak and comprehend English; secondary language is a plus.
  • Familiar with common business practices, financial calculations, and ability to track program costs.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to identify key requirements needed from cross-functional teams and external vendors.
  • Ability to analyze, evaluate, and overcome program risks, and produce program reports for management and stakeholders.
  • Ability to drive the cross functional team to accomplish program maintenance while utilizing the Truck Hero Program Management Process and disciplines.
  • Ability to work closely with project sponsor and cross-functional teams to plan and develop scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new initiatives.
  • Strong, professional verbal and written communication skills.


  • Occasional travel is required; ability to travel to supporting plants in the US and Canada
