Specialist, IT Inventory & Imaging

Position Summary:

The Inventory and Imaging Specialist is responsible for both technical, and administrative duties. This person will be the primary person responsible for the inventorying and asset tagging of IT equipment, and generating reports to the IT Support Experience Manager, and VP of IT. Responding in person, via phone, or electronically to inquiries and requests for assistance, and creating, updating, and resolving Service Desk Tickets as needed. This position will also assist with, maintaining departmental and user documentation. This position reports to the Information Technology Support Experience Manager.

Essential Job Functions:

  • 60% - Receive, Inventory, and asset tag IT equipment Prepares, stores and applies images for all models of computers in active inventory.
  • 30% - Uses technical expertise & understanding of business needs to evaluate and resolve IT service desk tickets, meeting specific Service Level Agreements. Assists in maintaining the onsite storage facility.
  • 10% - Device Management Projects such as Quarterly Inventory Reports, Warranty Management, etc.
  • 10% - Prepares and maintains end-user documentation.

  • Able to demonstrate good troubleshooting skills
  • 2 years experience with Windows Operating Systems
  • 2 years of Information Technology experience
  • Intermediate MS Office Suite skills
  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
