IT Service Desk Analyst

Position Summary:

The IT Service Desk Analyst is responsible for both technical, and administrative duties. This person will also be the primary person responsible for the inventorying and asset tagging of IT equipment, maintain and update copier and printer inventory, as well as work with eFax vendors to set up new lines of business where needed. This person will also assist with vendor management, and invoicing duties. This position will also assist with, maintaining departmental and user documentation. This position reports to the Information Technology Support Manager.


Essential Job Functions:

  • 40% Receive, Inventory, and asset tag IT equipment Prepares, stores and applies images for all models of computers in active inventory.
  • 40% Assist with the Invoicing and Vendor Management Processes
  • 10% Uses technical expertise & understanding of business needs to evaluate and resolve IT service desk tickets, meeting specific Service Level Agreements. Assists in maintaining the onsite storage facility.
  • 10% Prepares and maintains end-user documentation.

Position Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Strong Attention to Detail
  • Strong organization skills
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
  • Intermediate MS Office Suite skills

Essential physical requirements:

  • Ability to lift 50lbs.
  • Must possess the visual acuity to develop written correspondence and determine accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of the work assigned.
  • Must be able to physically perform the basic life operational functions of talking, hearing, sitting for long periods of time and performing repetitive motions, such as using a computer.

Must be able to speak English fluently and audibly, write legibly and communicate within the chain of command, with external providers and customers, and with donors
