The Senior Microsoft Engineer will support all aspects of hardware and software pertaining to Microsoft server products, including Public Key Infrastructure, Active Directory, System Center, SharePoint, and SQL server.

Additional Responsibilities Include, but are not Limited To:

  • Support Microsoft Active Directory in a multiple-site architecture.
  • Initiate and manage a project from inception to completion.
  • Troubleshoot problems, conduct research, and propose new technology solutions.
  • Assist with proposal development, if necessary.
  • Perform other duties, as assigned.
 
Position Requirements

Experience:

  • Minimum four (4) years of experience operating a Microsoft Windows domain.
  • Strong organizational, communication and managerial skills.

Education:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, electrical engineering, or communications management from accredited college/university.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

  • In lieu of the bachelor’s degree, the Senior Microsoft Systems Engineer may have
    one of the following certifications:
    • Certification: GIAC Security Essentials Certificate (GSEC)
    • Security+ (CE) Certificate
    • Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP) Certificate
    • CNSSI/National Security Telecommunications and Information Systems Security Instruction (NSTISSI) Certificate
    • Within 6 months from start date, shall obtain and maintain a current Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) Server Infrastructure Certificate

Other Required Skills & Abilities:

  • Must be able to effectively communicate with customer and fulfill all duties and responsibilities as listed in the contract.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite including, but not limited to: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.

Security Clearance: Secret security clearance required.

US Citizenship: This position supports a U.S. Government Contract whose terms require Sawdey Solution Services to staff it only with U.S. Citizens.
