Position Beverage/Lobby Bar Back Runner  
Position Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Minimum of six (6) months’ restaurant experience within the past three (3) years.
  2. Effective communication skills: good auditory acuity and able to verbally respond appropriately.
  3. Demonstrates interpersonal skills and abilities that promotes positive guest services.
  4. Physically able to: stand or walk for long periods of time; performs routine bending and lifting of product up to 35lbs.; performs repetitive motions of arms, hands, wrists, and fingers; occasionally lifts and maneuvers up to 140 lbs.; and works in varied (hot, cold, Smokey) environment.
  5. Presents a professional demeanor through appearance and a positive attitude toward all employees and guests.
  6. Must possess or obtain a Food Handler's certificate and an OLCC certificate within 30 days of employment.
  7. Requires a High Security Gaming License clearance.
  8. Must be at least 21 years of age.

Description

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for making sure bar service areas and inventories are maintained at all times. Ensures guest satisfaction, beverage quality, and cleanliness of bar area and supplies. Requires knowledge of bar supplies and common drinks being served.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  1. Ensures guest service standards through prompt, efficient and friendly service.
  2. Maintains inventory of bar supply needs and promptly and efficiently stocks beer, wine, liquor, mixers, ice and dry goods.
  3. Ensures that inventory items are stored and placed using FIFO systems.
  4. Provides trash pickup and disposal of bar and service areas, including removing bags and replenishing bags, wiping down receptacles, and mopping floor as needed.
  5. Maintains a neat and clean station on continual basis.
  6. Assists with removal of used dishware and utensils.
  7. Washes and stocks glassware and utensils.
  8. Assists with bussing of tables and running food from kitchen as needed.
  9. Reports any health standards or safety needs immediately to Supervisor.
  10. Keeps Supervisor apprised of operational concerns including recipes, inventory, and supply needs.
  11. Adheres to company policies, regulatory laws, codes, and department procedures.
  12. Promotes internal guest service standards with courteous and respectful behavior with co-workers.
  13. Performs other duties as assigned.
 
Salary $13.00-$16.00 Hourly
