Description

Adventure Summary

The purpose of the position is to maintain proper flow of product and manpower. Pull or replenish inventory to satisfy organization needs. Ensure shipment and delivery time schedules are maintained. Investigate and correct bottlenecks with people and product. Work with supervisor and lead to perform periodic review of labor, line balance and staffing issues. Maintain flow and control work in process for plant.

 

What You Will Do

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Identify and correct bottleneck in area
  • Perform all functions in warehouse for all areas
  • Perform cycle counts
  • Maintain item locations in system and physical locations
  • Assists in fulfillment as needed
  • Bottleneck resolution and work in process improvements
  • Maintains WMS systems as it relates to core functional area
  • Responsible for labeling
  • Maintains records and files
  • Frequent transport of Company supplies, mail, and internal orders between facilities

 

Other Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Collaborates within fulfillment and cross-functionally to resolve product flow and manpower issues
  • Assist in training and facilitate changes in area
  • Control work in process and identify opportunities for improvement
 
Position Requirements

What You Will Need

Education and Experience

  • High school Diploma or GED or equivalent
  • 2 years of experience in related field preferred
  • Valid Driver’s License

Medium work. Medium work involves lifting no more than 50 pounds at a time with frequent lifting or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
