Description

The Senior Accounting Manager is a key member of the Finance team responsible for the supervision of all tasks related to accounting and financial service to ensure accurate and timely financial practices.  This role will support in all areas of bookkeeping, A/R, A/P and purchasing.  

RESPONSIBILITIES & KEY ACTIVITIES:

  • Oversee the general accounting function within the organization, including cash, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, prepaid expense, accruals, tax, intercompany, equity, intangibles, business combination, and restructuring.
  • Review, supervise, and perform monthly/annual financial closings and financial reporting, GL reconciliations, cash management, and project reporting as needed.
  • Evaluate and monitor monthly progress against budgets and targets, and work with managers to ensure accountability.
  • Contribute meaningfully to quarterly forecast and budget planning cycles, including coordinating with all stakeholders, providing corporate inputs, and preparing relevant deliverables.
 
Position Requirements

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • CPA License required
  • 7 years of progressive work experience in Accounting
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
  • Strong problem-solving and organization skills.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, resourceful and able to manage shifting priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work well with others in a collaborative team environment.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (e.g., VBA, Macros, advanced formulas).
  • Experience with QuickBooks Enterprise and SAP S4 Hana is a plus.
