Apply today for your opportunity to energize your career by joining an industry leader with deep, long-standing relationships with the major electric utilities and telecom providers in the Pacific Northwest and the unique ability to offer our customers a full suite of aerial telecom, underground telecom, overhead electric, underground electric, joint utility trenching, and directional drilling services   Description These Crews are responsible for going into residential and commercial areas working on underground utilities and working with their crew to complete tasks for the day.  General Laborers at Track Utilties are so important to the day to day operations and should be able to trouble shoot, manage challenging jobs and naturally share our core values.  Assist crew leader in construction/reconstruction and maintenance work.  Assist equipment operations, swamping, hand digging, locating underground obstructions.  Work with specialized equipment, including jackhammering, rotary drills, power actuated fasteners and other necessary tools. Signal equipment operators to facilitate alignment, movement,  and adjustment of machinery, equipment, and materials. Work Safely around backhoes, excavators, trenchers and dump truck. Clean and prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards. Trained on operating applicable equipment. Knowledge of units. 1-2 years in a prior laboring role.  Complete duties as assigned.   Position Requirements Ability to perform heavy manual labor for extended periods, often under adverse climatic conditions. Ability to lift up to 80 lbs mulitiple times during a work shift. Ability to climb, dig, work in tight spaces, on uneven surfaces, walking, stooping, and kneeling. Ability to understand and follow specific oral and written instructions. Ability to work well independently and as a part of a team with co-workers. Ability to pass motor vehicle, criminal background check, and comply with drug-free workplace policy. English usage sufficeint to keep records, place orders, and prepare simple narrative reports. Willingness and ability to learn additionall skills.
