Outpatient Therapist - Clinical Team Lead

Position Summary:

The Team Lead provides clinical guidance for their team. This position also entails carrying a caseload with a weekly billable expectation.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Provides administrative and clinical support for OPT staff
  • Reviews assessments and assigns cases to clinicians
  • Coordinates weekly supervision(s)
  • Serves as senior leader and provides implementation support for EBPs (Triple P, TFCBT, MATCH, CTIA, OPT plus, EBHT).
  • Provides back-up support for client enrollment into Welligent, Alpha or any other MCO database on a daily basis
  • Serves as back-up support for updating insurance information-demographics; target pop in MCO databases
  • Daily reviews of service entries by clinicians as deemed necessary
  • Review of OPT discharges
  • Completes and submits IRIS reports both internally and externally
  • DJJ Tracking monthly
  • Maintains regular hours to provide clinical support
  • Serves as back-up for first responders- on a rotation basis
  • Participates in peer reviews; audits; and new staff orientation as needed
  • Carries a caseload with a minimum billable expectation per week
  • Provides 1:1; group and /or family counseling -as stipulated by specific referral- to individuals and families with emotional and /or behavioral uses.
  • Maintains clinical documentation according to program and Medicaid standards regarding service provision
  • Works cooperatively with other professionals and community members to help facilitate a team-based approach
  • Fulfills all duties utilizing a person or family centered approach, in line with ESUCP's mission and philosophy.
  • Completes timesheets, documentation and other paperwork in a timely and accurate fashion according to internal, state and federal standards
  • Drives for position on a regular basis.
  • Other duties as assigned

Supervisory Responsibility:

  • This position will provide clinical and administrative support to outpatient therapists.

Position Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be either a licensed or board eligible/provisional licensed professional (LPC, LPA, LMFT, OR LCSW).
  • Must have a minimum of one (1) year documented experience with population
  • Must have a valid, unrestricted, state appropriate driver’s license
