Seeking to hire a Full - Time Senior Director of Grant Development and Management

Job summary

  • Complete and coordinate all stages of grant application process, including narrative writing, budget creation, completing required attachments, and submitting proposals in compliance with funding requirements
  • Serve as liaison to all funding agencies or organizations; maintain contact with funding organization during review of submitted proposals/grant applications
  • Provide leadership for identifying agency priorities and seeking and developing grant-opportunities
  • Works to ensure consistent streams of grant revenue according to agency goals
  • Complete and coordinate all stages of grant application process, including narrative writing, budget creation, completing required attachments, and submitting proposals in compliance with funding requirements
  • Develop a high level of expertise in healthcare funding trends, emerging social service needs, systemic inequalities, and local service offerings
  • Fluently communicate methods to address social determinants of health and combat health disparities among historically excluded groups
  • Coordinate with intersystem partners to complete collaborative grant applications.
  • Maintain processes for federal post-award grants management, including overseeing reporting compliance and grant startup activities
  • Convene internal grant workgroups to ensure grant requirements and outcomes are achieved throughout the grant lifecycle
  • Serve as a key point of contact for inquiries regarding reporting requirements and deliverables for identified grants
  • Administer subaward contracts for community development initiatives
  • Supervise Grant Development Associate and other staff as assigned
  • Participate in Agency’s Diversity Equity Inclusion Committee, as baseline knowledge is a necessary job function
 
Position Requirements

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in social work or a related field
  •  Minimum of four (4) years of grant development experience. Two (2) years of supervisory experience is preferred
  • Familiarity with state and federal funding entities, such as SAMHSA, the Bureau of Justice Assistance, the NJ Dept. of Children and Families, and the NJ Division of Mental Health and Addiction Services
  • Valid driver's license required and must be insurable by agency's automobile insurance

Preference

  • Experience writing grant applications for Federal and State governments
