Share Email Opening Title Maintenance Worker  Position Maintenance Worker   Full-Time/Part-Time Part-Time   Base Wage $14.00 per hour   Description The Maintenance Worker performs semi-skilled and skilled maintenance and repair work in a variety of building trades. The job holder uses initiative in carrying out recurring assignments independently without specific instructions; performs work that is technically accurate and in compliance with instructions, established procedures, and guidelines; and considers the safety of the staff and visitors when completing maintenance tasks. Essential Functions include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Participate in all facets of general maintenance/custodial tasks for the facility. Inspect, identity, and document preventive maintenance and repairs to the facility and/or equipment. Inspect functionality of safety systems such as fire alarms. Trouble shoot problems; operate hand and power tools and equipment necessary to the work assignment. Determine supplies and materials needed to make minor repairs and to maintain day-to-day maintenance. Organize, maintain, and secure tools and equipment. Oversee contractors when professional repairs are necessary.
