Position Talent & Facilities Specialist  
Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time  
Location US - Headquarters Based in Austin Texas  

L7 Informatics is growing at breakneck speeds and as such, we are building out a fully functioning Talent department to support all of our highly valuable L7'ers. As our first ever Talent & Facilities Specialist, you will play a key support role working alongside the Director of Talent & Culture as we build the department. Together we will create some organization and process around talent department features such as talent branding, recruiting, improving the new hire onboarding experience as well as any fun culture events and initiatives that we decide to roll-out

This work will also need your organization skills when it comes to managing our office facilities and providing some administrative support. Here's a full breakdown of all the cool stuff you'll get to help us do:

Recruiting People:

  • Coordinate candidate interviews across multiple hiring managers / interview teams
  • Answer candidate questions related to, well, could be anything!
  • Run recruiting reports that support recruiting and future hiring decisions
  • Own the administrative side of the ATS (applicant tracking system) by entering in new jobs and tracking candidate progress
  • Sourcing - ensuring open jobs are posted to the right job boards and networking groups
  • Monitor company metrics to attract better candidates and use company resources more efficiently
  • Support the build out and improvement of our Talent Brand strategy
  • Track, measure and provide on-going insight to the candidate experience throughout the recruiting process and proactively recommend solutions or improvements as needed
  • Support in management of recruiting vendor relationships

Talent & Culture Stuff:

  • Act as the first key point of contact for all new hires as we welcome them to L7 and introduce them around and ensure all new employees have a smooth integration into the business / team.
  • Own the organization and coordination of all talent/culture-based employee events
  • Manage administration of employee surveys including analyzing results
  • Support and promote company culture within the office
  • Create content for company-wide internal communications and talent roadmap
  • Create team reports/dashboards, manage budget and administrative support
  • Facilitate and execute logistics of internal learning & development workshops including scheduling, transportation, catering, post experience surveys, etc.

Office/Admin Tasks:

  • Facilities follow up and maintenance such as scheduling vendors to come out for regular cleaning or maintenance of A/C, plumbing, etc.
  • Keeping the kitchen stocked with drinks and snacks for the team
  • Vendor relations and facilities coordinator including site repairs and preventative maintenance.
  • Manage all office supply inventory and mail/courier deliveries in addition to our swag inventory for Talent & Marketing
Position Requirements

What we’ll need you to have or be able to do:

  • Strong self-initiative & ability to work well in a team environment
  • Ability to thrive in a start-up, fast-growing, ever-changing environment
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong MS Office skills + having worked on a Mac or in Google would be a plus
  • A bachelor's degree (ideally in human resources or similar field)
  • Fantastic organization and project management skills
  • A personable, approachable, outgoing and friendly personality
  • Drive to make a positive impact and make L7 an awesome place to work
  • Previous years of staffing experience in a comparable job can be helpful.
  • Excellent communication skills with an exceptional attention to detail
  • Exercise a high level of independence and good judgment in a proactive, energetic and upbeat manner
  • Be willing to work from our HQ in Central Austin from time to time as necessary (min 3 days/week flex time)
