Share Email Opening Title Machine Operator  Description Job Title: Machine Operator Department: Cultivation Reports to: Harvest BL/Manager FLSA Status: Regular- Non-Exempt Location: Monticello, FL   Role Summary: Trulieve is in the process of hiring an Equipment Operator for our cultivation and processing sites in northwest Florida. The ideal candidate for the role is a multi-trade problem solver who is technically advanced, has previous equipment operations experience. Those who are comfortable working in a clean food-grade environment will be especially comfortable in this facility. We are looking for experienced employees who can work within our team to accomplish daily goals. It is our desire to have a well-rounded team with the passion and work ethic to help make us successful.   Key Duties and Responsibilities: Become proficient in the setup, adjustment, and operations of all equipment in the facilities Perform periodic checks on equipment and solve problems detected Work with others in order to ensure that equipment is in proper working order Responsible for running, maintaining, and cleaning the machinery Observe and follow company safety rules and regulations Attention to detail to ensure the machine is properly cared for and the environment is held to food safety standards ability to work in a fast-paced environment Other duties as assigned       Position Requirements SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: · Must have previous experience as an equipment technician in an industrial manufacturing environment or equivalent setting · High School Diploma · Solid understanding of basic troubleshooting · Well versed in safety protocols including PPE · Ability to identify unsafe situations and work with team leads onsite to mitigate risks. · Strong communication skills: Verbal and Written. · Comfortable with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word. · Possess superior time and task management skills   ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: · Clean sterile processing and packaging environment. · GMP’s will be in place and enforced at all times. · Must be able to pass a Level 2 background screening · Must be at least 21 years of age (State Law)   PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: · Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 40lbs to a minimum height of 5 feet and able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance · Must be able to work seated/standing as appropriate at workstations for extended periods of time, maintain body equilibrium while climbing ladders, stairways, stopping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching, and use hands/fingers to hold, grasp, turn, pick, pinch frequently/constantly to complete tasks · Must be able to handle strong aromas/organic matter daily, able to wear PPE as appropriate (eye, face, hand, arm, head, foot, body, fall protection) · Must be able to speak and communicate verbally at conversation levels with co-workers (Moderate noise) WORK SCHEDULE: · 40+ hours weekly with flexible hours depending on department needs.
