Description

The primary function of this position is to install electrical panels, harnesses and assembly components into production units. Work is done independently or under minimal supervision.

Essential Duties:

  • Installs electrical panels, harnesses, and assembly components to ECUs and Power Generation Units
  • Units are typically, but not limited to, repetitive product that is build in assembly cells at specific TAKT times
  • Utilizes work instructions to perform tasks
  • Follows visual and written work instructions in order to mcomplete assigned tasks within set time allotted
  • Accurately reports shop floor production data via computer terminal and/or written reporting
  • Performs cycle counting of parts and material handling duries as required
  • Supports, communicates, reinforces and defends the mission, values and culture of the organization
  • Adheres to all quality and safety standards
  • Supports other projects and performs duties as assigned

 
Position Requirements

Years of Experience/Level of Education:

  • 1-3 years industry experience preferred
  • High School diploma or GED preferred. In lieu of diploma, relevant work experience demonstrating the required job skills and abilities needed to successfully perform the job

Experience/Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Must be able to speak, read and understand English
  • Ability to work from verbal and written instructions
  • Operation of small power tools and other hand tools and computerized and high-pressure equipment
