Description

The Media Analytics Department is seeking the next generation of thought leaders in computer vision and machine learning for research internships in Summer 2022. Our interns work closely with the research team to explore creative directions with a potential for high impact in industry and the broader community. 

Intern projects usually result in student-led papers published at top-tier venues such as CVPR, ICCV, ECCV or NeurIPS. Outstanding applicants pursuing a PhD in all areas of computer vision are encouraged to apply, including but not limited to the following:
• 3D scene understanding
• Visual recognition
• Domain adaptation and generalization
• Multi-task and multimodal representations
• Vision-language understanding
• Implicit neural representations
• Embodied AI
• Fairness and sustainability
• Privacy-aware learning
• Computational photography

Position Requirements

• PhD student in Computer Science (or equivalent)
• Strong research background in computer vision or machine learning
• Experience with at least one of Pytorch or Tensorflow
