The company has continually grown to a point where we currently serve more than 600 individuals, and employ more than 1000 people across the state. Skill Creations is a human services agency that operates three service divisions. The ICF Division provides specialized long-term residential care to 191 individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities in 15 different towns in North Carolina. The Community Operations Division provides residential and non-residential services to persons with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities in their home community. The Child Development Division, with two locations in Goldsboro, provides high quality child care and preschool for children ages birth - 5 years. One center also offers after school care through age 12.   Description Nursing The Special Professional RN is responsible for providing training, competency validation and documentation of training to unlicensed staff working in residential facilities for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Areas of training include: medication administration, proper PPE use, handwashing and a variety of other nursing tasks based on the needs of the clients. This position is part time (10 hours per month) and would require in person attendance at training sites at least twice a month. Training classes are scheduled weekdays between the hours of 8am and 5pm.  ***Competitive hourly rate and mileage reimbursement is provided***   Position Requirements Current licensure as a Registered Nurse by the N.C. Board of Nursing. Prompt and regular attendance for assigned classes is expected. A valid driver’s license is essential. Course work will be required in CPR/First Aid and behavior management.
