ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES includes the following. Other duties may be assigned.


  • Performs a wide variety of electronic, electro-mechanical, mechanical or measurement product assembly operations on product components, assemblies or sub-assemblies.
  • Performs the various tasks necessary to assemble micro-electronic assemblies for production. This job performs the standard assembly, die bonding, wire bonding, and installation steps for teh components required in production line assemblies. 
  • Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering, cable harnessing, welding and fitting on assembly units.
  • Makes setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications.


High School Diploma, GED or Equivalency required; 2-4 years direct experience preferred.

Previous experience soldering preferred; current or prior certification of J-STD-001 a plus.

Knowledge of wire and die bonding equipment required. 

Proficient in machine operations and upkeep. 

Well versed with basics of electronics and active components. Knowledge of different types of diodes, transistors, and integrated Circuits (IC).



Must be able to support standard business hours, Monday through Friday. Must also be able to support overtime on week days or weekends as required to support business needs.

Employee must be able to successfully complete internal company based or external IPC training for soldering certification (J-STD-001).

Must have excellent manual dexterity and hand/eye coordination, able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time, and will at times be required to work with some chemical and bonding agents.
